When the Bulls take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Chicago this Christmas, Derrick Rose will take the court in a special “Bad Dreams” edition of his signature adidas D Rose 5 Boost. Just the latest installment in adidas’s nightmare-inspired holiday hoops footwear — and an apt follow-up of sorts to 2012’s holiday D Rose 3 — the “Bad Dreams” edition of the Boost-cushioned D Rose 5 boasts a Core Black/Running White/Scarlet colorway and is highlighted by glow-in-the-dark applications to the likes of the outsole, heel counter, and tongue branding. The entirety of adidas Basketball’s Holiday 2014 “Bad Dreams” collection is due out this Friday, December 12 while the D Rose 5 Boost can already be picked up now at Three Stripes stockists like Düsseldorf’s afew.
