Taking to its official Twitter account, Star Wars confirms the latest title of its much-anticipated Episode VII as The Force Awakens. Although little is known currently on the content of its storyline, Episode VII is set to take place 30 years after the defeat of Darth Vader and the Empire. Helmed by director J.J. Abrams of Star Trek and Mission Impossible with George Lucas serving as a creative consultant, the latest Star Wars film is currently undergoing filming and photography with a release date set for December of 2015. Stay tuned as we learn more details on the upcoming next chapter.
