NicX featuring 6LACK - The Sun

Never have bars about blood spilt, tears shed, elevating, medicating, and meditating been combined so smoothly. NicX and 6LACK are two upstarts from Cleveland and Baltimore who have moved to Atlanta to be a part of the modern rap’s nucleus, and their latest collaboration, “The Sun,” might help get them a piece of all the action in their newfound home. The pair chase the swift, nimble percussion producer Identity Withheld chooses to use as the backbone for the beat in a way befitting of veterans. Their verses and harmonies are well-constructed and confident, and it looks like they’ve fine-tuned the flows they’ve chosen to adopt.
