This season’s 1960 Collection from Lyle & Scott is inspired by the decade which saw the inception of their iconic Golden Eagle logo. In celebration of the decade’s sartorial excellence and paying homage to the British heritage brand’s close association with golf, the classic slim-fitting ’60s silhouette has been reinterpreted for the modern man via a seasonal array of colors including Wine, Scarlet, Tartan Green, Gold Lovet and Camel. Boasting a Royal Warrant for 15 knitwear pieces such as jumpers, cardigans and roll necks with a unique neck placement of the Golden Eagle, the 28-piece lineup also includes polos and a golf harrington. Noteworthy is the decision to incorporate the dropped saddle shoulder construction into the knitwear pieces as well as using the same yarn spinner as the Lyle & Scott 1963 collection — touches which speak to the brand’s reverence of its exceptional lineage. Look out for these pieces online and at select retailers worldwide.
