HYPETRAK Speak with Yasiin Bey in "Soul Connection"

A man of many names, from Black Dante to the famous Mos Def and now Yasiin Bey, the Brooklyn native is arguable one of the most socially aware rappers of our day. Although he attributes his musical influences to the likes of ATCQ and Public Enemy, his lyrics are more reminiscent of a Langston Hughes poem or an essay from James Baldwin. Having recently caught up with Bey while in Hong Kong, HYPETRAK had the opportunity to ask him a few questions on camera.
