The thematic boots take a trip down memory lane to Rosario, Argentina where Messi’s first experiences with the game would pave the way to global success and stardom. The boots dubbed mirosar10 is Spanish for “my Rosario,” with the number 10 a symbolic gesture for what has often been the most important player on the pitch. The orange color of the boots signifies Messi’s first club, while green represents his bitter rivals – a team in which Messi scored four goals against during one of his first important matches playing 11-aside football. Other highlights include a map of Rosario on the insole and reference to the abandoned military field where Messi would sneak in and play with his friends.
