Essentials: Big K.R.I.T.

Big K.R.I.T. is the latest rapper to take part in our Essentials series. For those currently putting his new album, Cadillactica, in rotation, this should provide a little more insight on the artist behind the project. K.R.I.T.’s list of his must-haves is simple, but functional and a necessity for a man who raps, produces, and is constantly performing. K.R.I.T. has a MIDI keyboard, MacBook Pro laptop, and a Nuemann TLM 103 microphone on him so he can create music whenever and wherever. Some beaded bracelets by Mara Hruby, eyeglasses, and a Goyard wallet are the only true “essential” accessories he keeps around, and an iPhone 5 is his phone of choice. Like other artists, he keeps a passport on him and a bible to guide him. Rounding out the list, K.R.I.T. keeps a flask nearby and some papaya pills to treat the heartburn after.
