Julian Assange, the face of whistle-blowing organization WikiLeaks, seems to be paying tribute to the infamous quote in Disney’s Pinocchio: “Anything is possible if you just believe.” And believe he does with the news that the organization will be introducing a high-end fashion line of apparel, household goods, accessories et al to the Indian markets. Assange has been working with native Indian company ‘Franchisee India’ to move previously online exclusive merchandise to physical stores. WikiLeaks representative Olafur Vignir Sigurvinsson stated, “India is one of the countries where awareness about WikiLeaks is the highest and Julian is excited about the proposition.” It is reported that apparel will sport generic rebellious slogans such as “Enemy of the State” among others. There’s no word on price points as of yet, but being a man on leaking important information, I’m sure you’ll hear about it soon.
