The latest wearable tech looking to make a hit on the market is the .klatz. The .klatz functions as a handset that receives message notifications, and much like the once ubiquitous flip phone, conveniently flips open when users need to take a call. The clamshell-inspired design will certainly be a plus for those looking to invest in a smartwatch, but are a little self-conscious about how they may look speaking into their wrist. The product is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms (or any phone with Bluetooth 2.1), sports a 384 LED screen, and perhaps the biggest selling point of all, a battery life of 10 days. The only pitfall is that while the .klatz’s is protected against scratches, it’s not entirely waterproof.
.klatz is currently looking for support for the project via Indiegogo.
