French headwear label Larose Paris has released an evocative short film to set the mood for its 2014 fall/winter collection. Directed by Kristof Brandl and set in Montreal’s Westmount Greenhouse which dates back to 1927, the film contrasts the prim attire of the gentleman, most notably his red felt fedora from the south of France, against the lush greenery and exotic broad-leafed foliage on display within the quaint glass structure of the greenhouse. Set to the lilting soundtrack of Érik Satie’s “Gnossienne No. 1,” the film hints at the bygone age that Larose Paris takes inspiration from. Watch the video above and learn more about the brand here.
