ESSENTIALS: Mr. Carmack

For our latest installment of Essentials we have linked up with Hawaii’s own Mr. Carmack, who’s currently heating up the internet with his Drugs EP. Like many other selective artists before him, Carmack’s share of must-have items is both necessary to his creative process and his style. When it comes to gear, Carmack keeps a Macbook Pro, Traktor S4, ATH-M50 headphones, iPhone, two Hard Drives, and an iPad Air on him wherever he’s at. For apparel, an Akubra straw hat, Team Supreme chain, handmade leather wallet, Timbuk2 messenger bag, Open Air Amsterdam sleep mask, pair of Oliver Peoples Bernardo sunglasses and a set of Nike Roshe Run Woven shoes go with him no matter what country he’s at. Rounding off his list are a set of keys to various locations in various locales, some Cocoa Butter, a Soulection weed container and grinder, a well-worn passport, a “random mixtape CD,” his Staedtler felt pen, and a used entry key card for some Wellington, New Zealand hotel.
