It looks like Interscope Records and Chief Keef have parted ways. After news of their separation leaked onto AllHipHop, the Glo Gang boss himself took to Twitter to confirm the news. Keef posted up an exchange with Glo Gang’s newest member, Lucki Ecks, where Sosa admits to being “dropped for a week now.” Neither party has made an official statement, but the AllHipHop piece cites Keef’s legal issues and the handling of Keef’s career post-Finally Rich as the main points of contention. However, this hasn’t appeared to phase Keef in the slightest. All his current projects are still scheduled for release on their expected release dates, and we’re pretty sure that dispensary he has in Los Angeles is still open. Plus, being completely independent now will allow him to reap the complete benefits from any future successes.
