After leaking news of their partnership back in March, adidas Originals and Barbour team up for one of the bigger collaborations this season with a look at their joint Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The high-profile range is set to honor Barbour’s heritage in military and sportsman aesthetics, executing three capsules – “Country,” “Spectator,” “Military,” – within the very thorough collection. The “Country” capsule draws on Barbour’s expertise navigating the great outdoors, offering the TS Runners and Adiwick jacket in luxe 8oz beeswax and leather. The “Spectator” category harkens to a certain vintage racing aesthetic, executing the ZX555 and CLMBA silhouettes alongside two jackets in lightweight, technical materials like lycra and waxed cotton. A throwback Army silhouette from the 1980s – the Baradi jacket – is the anchoring piece of the “Military” collection, done up with fitting camouflage lining at the inside of a black waxed shell. Enjoy our look at the adidas Originals x Barbour collection here, then look for this extremely limited range at participating Barbour shops and adidas Consortium retailers beginning November 8.
