In the latest Amoeba Music episode of “What’s In My Bag?,” world-class DJ and producer, A-Trak, shares his recent pick-ups from the record store in Hollywood. Within this closer look, A-trak takes us to school with a brief history of sampling and break beats and their influences on his music, as he describes some of some of the records that he dug out. The DJ and head of Fool’s Gold Records made some interesting purchases during his visit, from the old school 70s Rarearth album to his brother, Dave 1’s (Chromeo) most recent White Women, and even a Simpsons action figure.
