sacai 2014 Fall/Winter Collection

Japanese fashion purveyors sacai drew from the concept of “inside out” in its 2014 fall/winter range. The collection features a number of reversible pieces styled to showcase their inner designs, while other pieces stood boldly with a decidedly inverted look. Jackets see unique stitching with wool cut away to showcase the interior nylon lining. The iconic double-breasted biker jacket, with its oversized lapels and multiple layers, provided grounds for a playful iteration, while other outerwear pieces saw lining dangling beyond the hem to further the collection’s beatnik motifs. Elsewhere, gilets, nordic-inspired cloaks and voluminous sweaters offer visually appealing pairings to the thin, quilted trousers and sweats.
