Rafa Nadal isn’t the only athlete receiving a brand new signature watch from Richard Mille as the timepiece crafter has created this RM 36-01 Sensor specifically for rally driver Sebastien Loeb. Employing the G-Sensor technology debuted in last year’s RM036 for Jean Todt, the design features a manual caliber with a tourbillon, both in ultra-lightweight titanium alloy. Measuring in at just under 48mm and about 17.5mm thick, the case includes a crown-set pusher while the redesigned G-Sensor – which can be manually rotated using the brown ceramic bezel – sees its reset pusher moved from the case to the center of the dial, uniquely rising out of the sapphire crystal. Limited to just 30 individually numbered pieces, Loeb’s Swiss-made RM 36-01 will retail for $625,000 USD.
