Nike's Senior Design Director Rob Dolan Takes Us Inside the Flyknit Lunar 2

Having just unveiled the new Nike Flyknit Lunar 2, Nike Running‘s Senior Design Director Rob Dolan takes us in for a closer look at the innovative new running shoe. A marriage of two of Nike’s biggest technologies — soft yet responsive Lunarlon cushioning and lightweight yet incredibly strong Flyknit — the Flyknit Lunar 2 is set to eclipse its predecessor as Nike’s premier running model. More than just a simple update of the outgoing model, the new shoe is the culmination of months of research spent determining the right amount of stretch for the upper and the ideal outsole pattern to match the foot’s natural movement.
