Paris-born, Tokyo-based fashion designer Julien David presented another street-ready collection that pieced together both formal and casual sensibilities. Big coats and oversized blazers are aptly paired with suit trousers, while classic chambrays and button-up shirts offer a leisurely look. A unique knitwear collection stretched from sweaters to more exciting suit pairings, nodding at Rasta attire with its colorways and semi-rigid woven construction. Elsewhere, PVC anoraks are paired with cargo pants, while varsity jackets see color block renditions, providing progressive cues to classic garments. Look for Julien David’s fall/winter collection in stores later this year.
