Alienware Steam Machine

Dell’s Alienware gaming division recently announced its upcoming Steam Machine ahead of CES 2014. A simplistic compact box powered by Steam OS, the box is designed to sit unobtrusively in the living room and run silently despite its high-powered cooling system. Dell reps have largely kept mum about detailed specifications, but word has it that it will be driven by a yet-undisclosed Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU and will be competitively priced against next generation gaming consoles.The previewed device design isn’t set in stone, so stay tuned for the finalized Steam Machine when it releases some time in the later half of 2014.
