One of the most endearing repertoires of this year’s London Collections: Men has to go to Alexander McQueen, who again pushes the envelope to runway shows. Choosing to host the show at London’s Welsh Chapel, the collection’s Gothic styling was impactful from the clothes to its accessories. Building off timeless menswear designs, monochromatic trench coats and blazers are adapted with rectangle prints, while gold and metallic hues, and artistic portraits from the ’50s take on other winter-appropriate outfits.
