Alder New York unveils its Fall/Winter 2014 collection with a new lookbook. For this lineup, designers David J. Krause and Nina Zilka drew inspiration from the contrast between the extreme functionality of winter sport equipment and the laid back attitude of the athletes themselves. The result is a variety of loose-fitting vests, sweat pants, thermals, shorts and coats finished in red plaid, olive and grey hues. “It’s all about looking the most stylish with the least amount of effort,” says Zilka. “That’s why we did the Plaid Double Sleeve Shirt and the Striped Double Sleeve Shirt. It creates the look of layers, but it is just one shirt you can simply throw on.”

Stay tuned for more details on the release of the collection as they become available. Until then, feel free to check out more from Alder New York through the brand website.
