NYC-based director and photographer Brian Petchers presents his new film Big Sean’s Homecoming: The Detroit Native’s Return, Reflection & Rise through this very own website today. The film intends to “show Big Sean as a symbol of hope and inspiration for the people of Detroit” and the mutual love between the artist and his city. The camera follows the G.O.O.D. Music rapper returning to his hometown — the city of Detroit — while in town for his homecoming show for his recent album, Hall of Fame. Calling the day of his performance “one of the best days of my life,” he reflects on his past and the hard work it took to get him where he is today. Enjoy!
