RZA Narrates Trailer For "The Grandmaster"

The Wu’s abbot, RZA, narrates the trailer for “The Grandmaster” an upcoming film based on the life of Bruce Lee’s renowned trainer, Ip Man. The film is set to unveil only at select theaters in New York and Los Angeles starting as of August 23. The motion picture also stars Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’s own Zhang Ziyi and was directed by renowned action flick director Wong Kar Wai who also had some words on the project:

“This is actually the third incarnation of the film, which we shot in 22 months over the course of three years….While each of our previous international debuts was thrilling, I’m very proud of the latest version that will be screened in American theaters. Perhaps not surprisingly, people have asked me about the reasoning behind re-editing the film, questioning why I chose to alter it from earlier iterations.”
