Japanese label, RATS, returns for 2013 with a fresh spin on Americana for fall. Taking its cues from the mid-century styles of the ’40s, the brand’s latest collection ranges from cowhide leather jackets and Chesterfield coats to throwback rayon shirts and a corduroy blazer. Standouts include the ’40s Deer Sports Jacket — with its contrasting leather collar and great rusty shade — and mixed-media Black Denim Down Vest, both of which channel the best of rugged American style and Japanese design.
