PUMA by Alexander McQueen 2013 Fall/Winter Joust III Mid "Sunflower"

While brands like Common Projects are busy designing minimalist footwear – stripping away excess panels, de-saturating colorways and putting silhouettes on a diet – PUMA and Alexander McQueen have sat behind their presumably large drafting tables to devise an alternative for the footwear game. This has recently been unveiled in the newest release by the design duo, the Joust III Mid “Sunflower” for Fall/Winter 2013. The mid-top features beige giraffe contrasting brown snake prints around the leather upper, and accented with green suede. These features rest atop an opaque rubber sole, lending a bit of balance to the wildlife-inspired sneaker.
