Kevin Durant‘s Nike KD VI gets an iridescent update thanks to the latest customization option for the signature silhouette via NIKEiD. Meant to be subtle yet bold as a reflection of KD’s evolved game, the kicks make use of a new “Chroma” synthetic that shifts colors with various angles of light. In all, seven different color options are set to be available for the upper, which can be coupled with 16 different accents for the likes of the branding, laces, lining, midsole and outsole. Further adding to the look, the iridescent upper can be utilized alongside glow-in-the-dark applications for everything from the visible Max Air unit to the personalization options and more. Inspired by the pearlescent paint jobs of the automotive world and more than two years in the making, the “Chroma” edition of the KD VI is due to be available via NIKEiD beginning August 12.
