After multiple pushbacks, Big Sean‘s sophomore album Hall of Fame is about to hit the market. Earlier this week, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper has held an exclusive listening session for the media at Jungle City Studios in New York City. One of the cuts, titled “M.I.L.F.,” finds Sean reuniting with Da Internz (“Dance (A$$)”). The ode to mature women features Nicki Minaj and Juicy J. The raunchy content continues on “Mona Lisa,” which has also been helmed by the production duo. Things get more emotional on “Ashley,” which is dedicated to his ex-girlfriend. The Detroit native apologizes for his mistakes and reminiscing on the good memories, while Miguel provides a “chilling verse.” The album’s title track features British pop siren Ellie Goulding, which features “electronic mixed with some Blackstreet shit.” The seriousness moves on with “World Ablaze,” where Sean muses about life over a Key Wayne and No I.D. production. Nas and KiD CuDi assist Sean on “First Chain.” It is worth pointing out that Cudder is giving a shout out to his former (“G.O.O.D Music ni**a forever, understand?”). As heard on various live occasions before, Lil Wayne and Jhené Aiko provide their vocals on “Beware.” The album’s single “Fire” has hit the webosphere this week. The LP’s release on August will also let us know if his collaboration with Eminem has made the final cut.
