Home to a second-generation PureView 41-megapixel sensor – billed as the “largest back side illuminated sensor available on a smartphone” – Nokia‘s Lumia 1020 has been officially unveiled. The latest Windows-powered phone’s PureView sensor is joined by a Gorilla Glass 3-protected 4.5” 1280 x 768 pixel AMOLED PureMotion HD+ display and a bevy of additional camera features: six-lens Zeiss optics, a manual shutter, updated optical stabilization, and xenon flash are all present. Home to Nokia’s Pro Camera application, users can manually adjust everything from the flash and focus to ISO sensitivity, shutter speed, exposure, and more while video setting allow for 1080p resolution at 30 fps with 4x zoom or 6x zoom at 720p resolution. Look for the latest evolution of Nokia’s flagship Lumia to be available from AT&T beginning July 26 for $299.99 USD.
