Believe it or not, the respective members of Vampire Weekend‘s have quite a diverse taste in music. Case in point, the quartet showcased their audio preferences in a one-hour BBC Radio 1 DJ set recently. Rostam Batmanglij and Chris Baio went head to head against Ezra Koenig and Chris Tomson, with each pair choosing songs in what they called a “Hot Summer Nights tag team soundclash.” They spun quite an eclectic selection, featuring Robin Thicke, Isaac Hayes, Dawn Penn, Sublime, Daft Punk and Ke$ha.
