WTAPS x Vans Vault 2013 Fall Collection - A Closer Look

Showcased previously, we now have a closer look at the much-anticipated Vans Vault collaboration release with Japanese military-inspired label WTAPS. With a strong use of tones, each shoe is constructed of canvas and suede in a palette of colors ranging, specifically on the Sk8-His, from navy and black to brown and khaki. The Chukka boots are more subtle with a simplistic monotone suede, while the Slip-Ons hold the most striking combination of both a navy with grey blue upper and a royal blue with opposing red inner. Insight also reveals that the shoes have been constructed entirely in the U.S. All three models will release alongside some yet-to-be-seen apparel sometime in August with prices of ¥12,600 JPY for the Chukkas and Slip-Ons, and ¥14,700 JPY for the Sk8-His (approximately $129 USD and $151 USD, respectively) at all WTAPS retailers (including GIP-STORE.)
