Rakku Designs has reinvented the wheel, at least for the realm of footwear, that is. After eons of stacking and arranging shoes horizontally and vertically, designer Danilo Torro has ingeniously broken the mold and introduced us to the Rolodex of kicks. Up to 30 pairs of U.S. size 11 men’s shoes can be inserted into the 20 expandable pockets, and are secured in place through adjustable elastic bands. Because shoes are naturally shaped like wedges, it’s a small wonder why no one had thought to save space by storing them circularly like cheese slices until now. The shoe wheel is made out of a molded ABS resin frame with nearly invisible vinyl side panels and elastic polyester cords. It also features locking swivel casters for easy transportation and tension control to adjust the wheel’s rotational speed. Priced at $71 USD, the rack can be ordered through the Rakku Designs website.
