It’s no secret that the shores of Miami make for not only some of the best beach-set scenery on Earth, but also for some of the better city-inspired footwear and apparel out there. That point is illustrated once again as Miami’s own MIA Skate Shop links up with Nike SB for a collaborative summertime take on the Dunk Low Pro. Celebrating the shop’s 10-year anniversary, the kicks sport obvious nods to the hometown Dolphins as orange and a variety of teal hues are paired with navy, white and sandy tan hits throughout. Furthering the coastal vibe is the appearance of a water-like graphic, as well as a semi-translucent rubber outsole, custom footbeds, and an orange palm tree on the tongue. Look for the kicks to make their debut in grand fashion as Nike SB and MIA have organized a pop-up shop, launch party, and a bevy of related celebratory product for June 21 – which just so happens to be Go Skateboarding Day.
