Before his London presentation, Matthew Miller hinted that Spring/Summer 2014 would be “the introduction of a new manifesto for the brand.” For the designer, this meant the “communication of objects, destruction and decay through individuality” that was displayed in a collection that used “untitled mixed media” as its theme. But despite the show’s conceptual bent and bare torsos, Miller’s clothes remained inherently wearable — modern, tailored basics like T-shirts, shorts, and trench coats in natural colors and industrial tones.
