Following our post on the release of LEGO’s Sydney Opera House for its Architecture series, the miniature feat can now be seen in all its glory, made from almost 3,000 bricks and standing 11-inches tall. Apart from the architectural complexity, not only in the real structure designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, but in the accuracy and detail of the LEGO model, the piece includes very rare and prized dark tan bricks and a unique 48×48 stud blue baseplate — a first of its kind. The 10234 Sydney Opera House from LEGO will be available this September at the official LEGO shop and at LEGO retailers for $320 USD.
