Kidult Tags Marc Jacobs Store Paris

Last year controversial graffiti artist Kidult tagged “ART” over Marc Jacobs‘ New York SoHo retailer. In retort, Marc Jacobs released the “Art by Art Jacobs” T-shirt in satire of the situation, beating the artist in the production of his own “BRANDalizing” T-shirt line. One year later it seems like the sequel continues, this time with Kidult tagging a bold “686” — a reference to the pricing the T-shirts were sold at — on Marc Jacobs’ Paris branch located on 34 rue de Montpensier. The images above shows the brick and mortar rehashed with “kidulism,” further nodding at consumerism via the use of green paint and dollar signs. Kidult has chosen his Facebook to provide one last statement: “680? 689?…686?! How much are you going to sell this for? #kidultarmyparis.”
