Levi's x HYPEBEAST Recap of Style Interpretation Project

Earlier this spring, Levi’s set out to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Levi’s® 501® by asking the world to share their personal style interpretation of this iconic staple. Over 140 years of history and legacy have been woven into the quintessential denim product. Born as a workwear essential, the fabric that built America, the 501 has become a full-fledged fashion icon.

As part of the movement, HYPEBEAST searched far and wide empowering denim and fashion fans alike to personally outline the present and future narrative of the 501®. The result? An outpouring of interest, participation and most importantly sartorial interpretation.

To culminate the celebration of 140 years of the 501®, Levi’s has curated the best 501 Interpretations submitted from around the globe. Ranging from fans to photographers, designers to stylists, the final 501® Showcase live on LEVIS501.com showcases the range of expressions of unique personal style. The final 501 looks will also be presented in a limited edition book, with all proceeds going to charity, available in select stores and online this summer.
