The numbers are in for the week of June 18. As expected, Kanye West has topped the charts, making it his sixth time to do so if you count Watch the Throne. However, J. Cole placed in a close second with his album Born Sinner selling only 31k less copies. Mac Miller‘s Watching Movies With the Sound Off eclipsed the 100k mark, making it the first time that three hip hop albums have sold six figures in the same week since November of 2006. These rankings line up with Hypetrak’s poll on the subject. The official Soundscan numbers will be confirming the results shortly.
