London-based retailer Footpatrol has announced a special collaboration alongside premium shoe cleaner, Jason Markk. The duo aligned to create a well-executed two-piece range of a Premium Shoe Cleaning Kit and a specially-crafted mini box set. Pulling inspiration from the Footpatrol interior brick & mortar build out, the collaborators tapped New York-based Good Wood to manufacture a limited run of 50 engraved wooden boxes for friends and family that are intended to reflect the recycled scaffold boards that blanket the shop. In addition to the friends and family offering, they will also be releasing a limited run of 1,000 pieces in a custom-designed, weathered wood box. The kit includes a customary 4 oz. shoe cleaning kit solution that is housed in a custom bottle that mimics a vintage poison bottle. In addition to the cleaner solution, an engraved brush and microfiber cloth, the kit also includes a small wooden keychain of Jason Markk’s mascot.
To coincide with the launch of the kit, the Jason Markk team will be in-store at Footpatrol offering complimentary sneaker cleaning on Saturday, June 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
