As a Manchester native, London-based designer and model Nyx Den first started as a fresh design graduate, launching her own range with her sister Agyness that sold out worldwide before being scouted by Uniqlo. In between working for The Streets and Kele and collabos with EASTPAK ARTIST STUDIO 2011, she enjoys hanging out with her crew, the Copson Street – Pastel Punk Metal Head Hoods. Gracing this latest edition of Essentials, she keeps it clean and simple with her items, which include her trusty toothbrush, her basic-but-gets-the-job-done inspiration notebook, and her Copson Street tee. Keeping fit and active, she runs 2-3 times a week sporting her Nike LunarGlide +4 runners and FuelBand bracelet. Keeping it no-fuss just the same with her tech, she is always accompanied by her Fujifilm Polaroid Camera, Urbanears Tanto pumpkin headphones, MacBook Pro and of course, her well-traveled iPhone – complete with cracked screen. The finishing touch? Her Essentials are completed by a nostalgic and much-missed throwback to the ’90s in the form of her Beavis and Butthead house keys.
