Die Antwoord - Cookie Thumper

If you’re looking for your daily dose of “um, what did I just watch,” then fret not because South African rap-rave group, Die Antwoord, has got just what you’re looking for. Their latest visual release, “Cookie Thumper,” dropped today and it’s certainly not one for the kids. Directed by lead vocalist Ninja, the clip finds co-rapper/vocalist Yo-landi portraying a rebellious schoolgirl in a strange relationship with a freshly released drug dealer. Reminiscent of art-house films such as Harmony Korine’s Gummo, “Cookie Thumper” is sure to have you hit the replay button a couple times over, even if it is just to try to make sense of it.
