Arcade Fire Reveals Release Date for 'The Suburbs' Follow-Up

The time has come for Arcade Fire to finally bless the world with new music since their Grammy-awarded 2010 offering The Suburbs. As Revolt points out, the band is currently readying the release of their new album for September 9. While the band itself has yet to officially comment on the progress of the project, sources close to the band revealed the material for the as-yet-untitled new album was recorded in various locations during the past year. Band member Sarah Neufeld has also been busy crafting her solo debut Hero Brother, which is slated for an August 20 release.
