According to reports, Yahoo! has flexed its muscles a bit with an $800 million USD bid to purchase online streaming platform Hulu. Coming just days after its $1.1 billion USD acquisition of Tumblr, Yahoo!’s exact bid for Hulu will be related to its licensing and content control agreements with current Hulu owners ABC, Fox, and Comcast as CEO and President Marissa Mayer – a former executive at Google – continues to reach for a younger audience.
