TRIWA 2013 Spring/Summer Watch Collection

TRIWA — an acronym for Transforming the Industry of Watches — is a Stockholm-based brand with the goal of promoting “the ethos of attitude and individuality in the traditional world of watches and accessories.” For Spring/Summer 2013, timepieces range from the traditional and understated — the Nevil Brown in Havana brown — to eye-catching styles like the Chrono, with its flamingo pink strap and turquoise chronograph sub dials. Other designs such as the Lansen — with its steel sunray dial and woven leather band — slot in nicely somewhere in between, contemporary designs rooted in classic aesthetics. As with most TRIWA watches, this season’s timepieces feature either leather bands by Swedish tannery Tärnsjö or summer-appropriate NATO straps in a spectrum of colorful, lightweight options.
