PUMA evoSPEED 1.2 FG Soccer Boot

PUMA continues on with the tailored development of soccer cleats designed to the specifications of individual styles of play, and with it the new evoSPEED 1.2 Boot. With its obvious name and tagline that states, “The nature of the speed junkie: their obsession is getting there first,” this model is designed for the player whose strategic goal, pun intended, is to outpace his/her competitors. From an official press release, “The new evoSPEED 1.2 FG is designed to enable players to quickly reach top speed without sacrificing stability or comfort. This is made possible through the use of light materials in combination with an internal midfoot support cage – EverFit cage – that maintains a good fit during all points of sprinting. The outsole is reconfigured with smaller conical studs that give the player a better grip on the ground and enhances maneuverability on the pitch. For optimal comfort, a minimized tongue and heel have been added, reducing pressure on the Achilles tendon as the sock liner distributes the foot’s pressure evenly.” Additionally, for the first time ever, PUMA’s iconic ‘formstripe’ trademark on the inner side has been replaced by the brand’s name itself.
