Leica’s premiere digital rangefinder series, dubbed simply the “M” series, will gain a new member next month – June 11 to be exact. Previewed on the brand’s website is this image of a black box with its circular brand icon in the corner and the apparent question “? Mini M.” Although no details have made their way to the web as of yet, it doesn’t take a camera expert to realize Leica is looking to follow suit behind companies like Apple or Nintendo in making a miniature version of its mainstay product that will likely be cheaper and more portable.
