With Record Store Day going down this past Saturday, April 20, we can be sure to hear plenty of exclusive new tracks in the coming days. Just earlier we got Nicolas Jaar‘s remix of Grizzly Bear and now we get a chance to listen to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds‘ release for the event. A limited-edition 7” vinyl, “Animal X” plays like spoken-word prose set to a marching drum beat and solemn strings. The song comes out of the same recording sessions as their latest album, Push The Sky Away, which was released in February of this year. As it may prove difficult to find “Animal X” in stores, the Australian group has provided a video of the track playing, which you can stream above.
