Following an initial look at Journal Standard‘s 2013 spring/summer lookbook, further looks at the retailer’s TRISECT collection have been made available. Four carefully composed looks illustrate the Japanese label’s tenacity for tasteful contemporary menswear, with inspiration taken from American styles seen through the lens of Japanese interpretation. Relatively consistent colorways are included alongside fitted tailoring and modern touches in the form of camouflage and polka dot patterns, while the garments themselves maintain an overall heritage feel. With a Japanese presence recurrently making its way into American and European menswear markets, Journal Standard looks to keep pace with smart releases.
