A fine blend of signature styles from both film directors Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola, this short film for Prada pays homage to two French classics: François Truffaut’s 1962, Jules et Jim, and Jean-Luc Godard’s 1964, Bande à part. The short, titled ‘PRADA CANDY’ playfully markets the alluring scent of the namesake fragrance that has, from the body of the female, enticed the lust of two male best friends. Through a mulled and quirky sense of humor, the story follows a period of grown acceptance from both men as they submit from feud and embrace the Ménage à trois. The film stars Peter Gadiot, Rodolphe Pauly and Léa Seydoux.
