Two new songs have been released from James Blake‘s Tumblr, presumably to give listeners a benchmark of what to expect on the forthcoming Overgrown LP. “Take a Fall For Me” features hip-hop legend RZA and, although Blake and the rapper/producer make vastly different music independently, the sense of ethereal mystery that underlines both artists’ work becomes the common ground on this collaboration. The second piece, “Everyday I Ran,” is a layered, trippy song that samples Big Boi’s “Royal Flush.” Both tracks are featured below for your enjoyment.
