Everyone knows that design is about storytelling, and it’s (barely) arguable that any apparel brand is better at telling a tale than Nike. Today, Nike Basketball unveils a look inside of the design process for creating their latest line of T-shirts. The T-shirts, in part designed by Jack Aguirre, each aim to capture Kevin Durant’s preparedness, LeBron James’s immense power, and Kobe’s rise to legendary status. Aguirre walks us through the inspiration behind his intricate art and touches on how creating this series of tees informs the ‘big story’ behind Nike Basketball.
